Terms
What this app is, what it is not, and what we each agree to.
Last updated 29 July 2026
What this is
This app helps you understand what is happening to someone you are caring for, prepare for their appointments, and keep their health information in one place.
What this is not
It is not medical advice, and it is not a doctor. It does not diagnose, it does not prescribe, and it does not decide anything about anyone's care. Answers are written by artificial intelligence and can be wrong. Every decision belongs to you and the care team.
It is not for emergencies. If someone may be in danger, stop and call 911, or your local emergency number.
Who may use it
You must be 18 or older to hold an account.
You may enter another person's health information only if you have the right to do so, as their family caregiver, as someone they asked, or as their legal representative. You are responsible for that, because we have no way to verify it. If that person asks you to stop, stop.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself. What happens through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has reached it.
What you put in
What you enter stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to process it so the app can do its job, and nothing beyond that. How it is handled is set out in the privacy policy.
Paying
During this invited early period the app is free. If that changes, you will be told before any charge, and never surprised by one. Nothing is billed without you choosing it first.
Fair use
Do not use the app to break the law, to reach another person's account, to overwhelm the service, or to resell it as your own. We may pause or close an account that does.
Where our responsibility ends
The app is offered as it is. We cannot promise it will always be available, always be correct, or always be understood the way it was meant.
We are not responsible for a medical decision made because of something this app said. That is the whole reason the app tells you, on every answer, to talk with the care team.
To the extent the law allows, Vero Dawn is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and any liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending it
You can close your account whenever you want, from the account screen, and everything in it is erased.
We can close an account that breaks these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we will give you notice and time to take your information with you.
Changes and law
These terms will change as the app grows. Meaningful changes will be told to you, not slipped in.
These terms are governed by the law of North Carolina.
